"I didn't stay, after being reprimanded, I got a refund"

Owner makes people take off and leave shoes at the entrance Can't use back entrance to bring belongings in... I was reprimanded for walking through wet concrete even though it was dark and not cordoned off

Sofort mit Stornierung einverstanden.

Mussten sofort Schuhe ausziehen, aber aggresiver Hund und Katze, die von draußen kamen, sprangen auf den Möbeln herum. Außerdem wollte die Empfangsdame unsere Hausschuhe kontrollieren. Auf Aufenthalt verzichtet.

"Beautiful property close to everything"

Carmen is very welcoming - along with her four legged assistants, a miniature poodle & Siamese cat The hotel is beautiful - it's like stepping back in time to a beautiful home and art gallery. The main floor has a beautiful seating area. The rooms are on the second & third floor. There is access to coffee, tea and a microwave in the common areas. There's a fridge in your room. The rooms are quiet as we didn't hear the other guests To keep the hotel clean, outdoor shoes are kept in the lobby or carried to your room. Slippers are provided. The cleaning staff are lovely. The art is stunning - lots of beautiful paintings and artwork. I wish we had more time to ask for details about each artist featured. Even the rooms are interesting with Fleur de Lis in the flooring. Location is perfect - close to the waterfront, lots of restaurants and Centre 200 for events. Free parking for your vehicle on the street (we had no issues) The locks are modern - all by code to get into the hotel and your room Breakfast is offered at an additional cost. The menu looked great. We didn't have it as we were leaving early to catch a flight.

Not a negative but informative - be prepared for stairs. This could be challenging for those with mobility issues due to age or injury

I forgot to mention in my previous review - we had two separate bookings for our two night stay and Carmen made sure we stayed in the same room. What a relief to settle once and not move luggage!! I would definitely stay here again - perfect location, welcoming, comfortable and quiet
