The hotel staff were extremely warm and welcoming. The Japanese style rooms were large and well appointed. And the dinner service was just amazing! The best meal we had for the almost 2 weeks we spent in Japan!

The open air onsen for men on the rooftop was quite exposed to the taller buildings next door.

Wonderful location close to train and bus links. The hotel staff were so kind and looked after us very well. The meals were exceptional and we would not hesitate to recommend. We hope to come back again. Many thanks to all at the hotel.

Tolles traditionelles Hotel. Privater Onsen war fantastisch. Das Frühstück und Abendessen war unglaublich gut. Das Shinshu beef sowie auch der Fisch und die anderen Gerichte.

The breakfast was exceptional. Variety of food, custom printed menus, allergy notes and service were wonderful. We left each day having tried new foods and feeling good physically and mentally! The onsite onsen experience and spa like dressing room were a wonderful inclusion for guests of this hotel.

We just wished we could have stayed longer!
