Location is perfect in the island. Beautiful natural surroundings and quietness. I had the most perfect yoga course on the rooftop watching giant bats flying home at dawn :) I was upgraded to the family room when I mentioned that my son would join me - such a nice attention.

Her authentic Kerala dishes, bursting with fresh coconut, spices, and Love, are generous and perfectly homemade. Don't miss meeting little Aayansh, whose sweet charm lights up the place. We had an absolute blast at Kailasam Homestay! The hosts went above and beyond with their warm hospitality, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The food was a highlight—homemade Kerala delicacies that were fresh, flavorful, and downright awesome, with every meal feeling like a feast. What set this place apart was how they seamlessly arranged all our activities: thrilling canoe and kayaking on the backwaters and relaxing Ayurvedic massages that left us rejuvenated. Everything was hassle-free, personalized, and perfectly timed. If you're looking for authentic Kerala vibes with top-notch service, this is it—highly recommend!

Had a very nice stay at Kailasam Homestay, Clean quiet and green, they arranged a canoe trip for me as well in the morning which is simply amazing! They are the most lovely and caring family that i have met in my whole trip in Kerala! I would surely come again!

Tout a été parfait à Kailasam homestay. Ça a été un vrai plaisir de passer 3 jours auprès de cette famille. Ils ont réservé pour moi un tour en bateau au lever du soleil, étaient présents et réactifs à la moindre question ou problème, et la cuisine de Kala est délicieuse. Je recommande vivement !

They went out of their way to ensure everything was comfortable and welcoming. The food prepared by Kala was absolutely delicious, every meal felt like a lovingly cooked family treat. One of the highlights of our visit was spending time with little Aayansh—his energy and playfulness added so much joy to our stay. Exploring Munroe Island was another unforgettable part of the trip.
