"Excellent and exceeded expectations, highly recommend!"

Perfect size for what I needed, and then a bonus library like room to use as well. Very clean and comfortable.

White chairs were a bit uncomfortable, I was using them to work online.

"A great location for visiting the Tauranga area."

Great location, easy distance for restaurants and cycle tracks. The room was neat and exceptionally clean. It was small but perfectly adequate for a couple of nights. We had outdoor activities planned so it suited our needs well. The bathroom was good, with excellent shower pressure again immaculately clean. Friendly host.

Location near the estuary and boardwalk made for an easy walk and getting our bearings. Room was warm and a large wardrobe for storage. Small verandah was lovely, with seating for a better day. Amazing to look right into the neighbour's avocado tree!

Bathroom window did not open and bathroom floor was chilly overnight. Others have commented on parking. Easy to park but hard to get around the car to the entrance. But only a minor issue. Train noise - I guess the locals are used to it!

Pukeko on bay is one of the best stay that we had during our road trip month in NZ. The place was beautiful, nice and clean. We loved the owner’s kindness and helpfulness. Will love to stay here again !
