Banbury Wroxton House Hotel

The staff were very friendly and the hotel was very nice. The bedroom was comfortable abd the breakfast was great.

The bathroom was tired and could of done with a better clean. The staff were rushed off their feet and having to cover breakfast and reception which . Grey couldn't be in two places at once and mistakes were made. The bar shut really early .

Only hotel I’ve ever been to that tea and coffee in room in a pot that any guest staying in the hotel room dips into, so not individual sachets. Pots were not clean and had hardly any in.

We had a very comfortable stay at the hotel this Bank Holiday weekend. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. Unfortunately, I had an asthma attack just after I arrived and they changed our room for us to one on a lower floor with a balcony overlooking thd courtyard. It was a very hot weekend and so it was useful to be able to have the French windows open in the evening. The evening menu offered a good choice of food and the serve yourself breakfast was good too. Plenty of outdoor seating and plenty of off road parking. The thatched roofs in the village are very picturesque & being able to hear the birdsong in the country quietness was delightful.

A few things need attention: the balcony decking had not been cleaned in a while and a cracked board needed repair. The bathroom was spacious, but the shelf on which to put toiletries etc was very small and really only accommodated one person’s things.

The staff is very helpful, Irina is very nice, kind and professional.
