Older property but very clean and safe

-You can hear toilets flushing through the wall! -A busy pub so can be very noisy outside (even well after closing) on weekends -Ceiling is very low on the stairs, I still banged my head despite the warnings so it's tricky for tall people xD

Was clean and location was near the station. I attended a wedding locally and so stayed here.

Very noisy and lots of music from bar downstairs. It finished at midnight but patrons of the pub started to shout from below my window. They were calling out to people they knew as they passed by. This heckling and jeering finished about 3am. Eventually I nodded off. I had to shut the windows on very humid July night. On the whole my fault for choosing a pub on a Saturday night - but I really thought it would quitened down by midnight.

The room was excellent for purpose, split between a double and a twin plus a bathroom which had both a bath and a showeer cubicle. Both rooms had a TV and easy chairs. There was plenty of room. Everything was very clean. The proprietor was very friendly and haelpful.

There was a definite lack of electricity sockets, there was not one by the kettle for instance, I had to take the kettle elsewhere to boil it. The propriter had stated to ask for anything we needed. we returned to the hotel quite late, half an hour before closing time and the pub was very busy so we went straight to our room. In the morning we needed more milk and sugar, however there was nobody about. I slept on a single bed which was very comfortable, however my daughter used the diouble bed which she found extremly uncomfortable. I know it is a pub, and I appreciate it is in the centre of town, however it was extremley noisy until around 3 am

Everything was very dated carpet on stairs needed replacing some sort of leak in the plumbing for the shower drainage. Kettle in room but no obvious socket to plug it into

It’s abit on the pricey side, the decor could do with updating and then it would be spot on
