Beautiful room, the restaurant was very homely

Unfortunately my loo as on a septic tank … once flushed it just kept refreshing but wasn’t flushable! Little embarrassing!!!

Stuart and his wife were excellent hosts and the cooked breakfast was amongst the best in UK and value for money. The pub bar was a ripper with friendly locals wanting a chat and £3 to £3.50 pints meant that Stuart is doing it out of his heart.

Stuart and Lili are fantastic hosts. They went out of their way to ensure our comfort. Stuart even dropped us at Sandburn Hall Hotel for a wedding and came and picked us up at midnight. There is a minimal charge, but it's well worth it. It's difficult trying to get taxis to come out to Flaxton and expensive!

Can't think of anything. Breakfast fantastic! Rooms very spacious and comfortable.

The Thompsons Arms was just what we wanted. The room was huge, clean and very comfortable. Stuart was amazing and helped us with all our travel to and from the wedding venue. There was more either Stuart or his staff could have done for us.
