Poor WiFi, only expensive cold breakfast option

Comfortable bed

Couldn't get into the room as nobody to greet you. No breakfast.

Comfortable room, good communication from staff regarding check-in/checkout procedures, nice meal at the pub. People in the village very friendly and helpful.

As others have stated, internet coverage is not good, but I was given access with the private account and that worked well. Only a few of the TV channels came in properly, but I didn’t really care as I was out most of the time. There is also quite a bit of traffic on the road just outside, and when warm/with windows open, it’s a bit noisy.

The location was perfect for me as I was doing the Brutal run 10k on the Saturday so it was handy for the bus but still in a beautiful countryside setting, the bed was fairly comfortable for a much needed pre race sleep and it was nice to have a courtesy cup of tea

the only slight annoyance was the big fan for the aircon directly outside my window which was rather loud but at least it was switched off at night so I still got a good nights sleep

Location, ease of access, large comfortable ensuite room, restaurant with good food, dog friendly (very important!)

Next to road where cars regularly broke the speed limit (not the pub’s fault of course) and being so near the road made it easy to access.

Good location. Had lunch on our arrival. Excellent food

Unable to look the door of room 3 from the outside. Breakfast not available

Ask the hotel to help about the booking and the refuse and decline it Very unprofessional

Room in very good order

Unexpectedly, there was no one there to see us off in the morning, let alone settle bills etc. The house is obviously left empty at night, save for any guests. Odd for a coach-house, inn, pub etc. Entry/exit was via the back door. There was (hence) not any breakfast available, unless one brought one's own. In both cases instructions were given where to leave keys etc but they were lost among other papers left in the room. By the time we realized there was nobody about the exit door was locked.
