The location was perfect, and I loved the breakfast. The service was excellent, and the bed was super comfortable.

Entering the hotel at night was a bit complicated at first, but then it was resolved.

prima locatie dichtbij Dover. Gezellige familiepub met home made food. contact met lokale gasten.

Kamer zonder wc/douche. Was op de gang, wel alleen gebruik daarvan.

Absolutely everything. Communication with Mary prior to our stay was great, always answered my messages quickly. Advised us where we can park, asking if we would like a table for dinner as the football was on and would be busy, unfortunately we didn’t because we had a wedding to go to. From the moment we walked in we were made to feel welcome. Mary, David and Mary’s daughter ( so sorry we didn’t catch your name) are extremely friendly and hospitality. Nothing was too much bother for them. The room was lovely, cosy, clean and extremely well equipped with tea and coffee, extra blankets. We did want for anything. It’s an amazing homely pub. Lovely old building with all the original features. Really charming. A proper pub which are few and far between these days which is very sad.

Absolutely nothing, there’s nothing to not like. It’s an absolutely charming pub.
