Nice clean rooms had good nights sleep , staff are welcoming , reasonable price, parking and WiFi free

I would prefer to have a car space directly outside the room I was staying in but no biggie Kettle was temperamental but I didn’t bring this to staff attention as didn’t notice till the morning left early no one was around as pub closed

Staff are welcoming, Room reasonable size and clean, bed very comfortable, heating in room if gets cold and room warms up quickly. Although they don’t sell food, nice touch with a breakfast basket in room and tea and coffee facilities (included in room price). I’ve stayed a quite a few times on a Tuesday both times had a food truck outside pub and fish and chip van came around at 20:15 (defo worth a try) Also another nice pub few minute walk around the corner that sells good pub food, fairly priced and good portion size. Plenty of space to park for free (usually i have a space directly outside the room)

Church bells go off every 30 mins - 1 hour but didn’t bother me I liked them, but if your a very light sleeper they might be an issue, but like I said for me it wasn’t an issue

Clean, cosy rooms, breakfast tray provided as no food in the pub. The staff in the pub are welcoming, friendly and helpful. Great location for visiting the area. This was our 3rd stay & we will certainly return again.

Charming rural village location on the green with village shop opposite. Breakfast basket with juice, porridge etc suited my early start. Lovely spacious/easy access shower. Liked being able to park the car directly outside the room. Staff really helpful - no food at the 5 bells but neighbouring pub served food.

Church bells did ring every quarter but this added to the charm of the location.

Great welcome, very comfy bed. Crisp clean sheets.
