Casa Mayela Guest House

The house is very nice, very clean and well kept, a good example of a traditional colonial house. Although windowless, which is common in this type of houses, the room was large and comfortable, with a large bathroom and a good shower. Good AC. There are only a few rooms, so the place was very quiet, and the owner was always very nice and eager to help. There are a few restaurants nearby, and it’s an easy walk to Avenida Central. It is also close to some of the main bus stations.

Very nice home stay in a great location for downtown, Chinatown and the bus station! Mayela is also a lovely host. She does not speak any English but that was not a problem for us. Felt very safe and secure

The stay was comfortable. The lady is friendly but cannot speak English. Using Google translates you can get a long way. The room itself was spacious enough, smelled fresh and clean. There is also a big kitchen you can use which is not on the photos. Location is close to China town. Walkable distance. Also close to Tracopa bus station.

Da Mayela keeps her hospedaje very clean and pleasant. It is in a safe area, mixed commercial and residential, so there is traffic noise, but that mostly stops at night. She provides a clean, well equipped kitchen that guests are free to use, and she is most supportive and helpful. She does not speak English, so my Spanish came in handy! It's close to the Paseo de Estudiantes with its shops and restaurants.
