Great staff, good location with parking. The breakfast was very nice.

We complained about the windows not opening and we’re told this was for safety reasons, fine, but there was no fresh air entering the room and all the fan did was blow around hot stale air. It was unbearable. The shower didn’t maintain a constant temperature so you couldn’t really have a shower. Both issues easy to fix so please sort it and we would stay again.

The staff were all exceptionally helpful. The food was very good - all cooked fresh to order.

Some of the towels smelled a bit - nor quite dried properly.

Although there is car park in hotel we couldnt get free space so had to pay every day for car park

I loved almost everything about this place. First and foremost, the staff was so incredibly welcoming, kind, thoughtful, and really felt like they wanted to help along all steps of my stay. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!! The breakfast was very very tasty and filling, the bed was very comfortable, the room was perfect and spacious, and the location was a quick walk to the train station. I was able to easily take the bus to st Ives and also did a long walk along the coast of hayle up to hell’s mouth.

Not much to be upset about really! The least appealing part of the stay was the karaoke night that’s held on Friday nights and can run a bit late. but honestly, staying above a bar/restaurant, I can more than understand this kind of “inconvenience” and if I wasn’t so tired from traveling I would have been down there enjoying it! It did look like there was a little bit of mold in the shower, but otherwise the room and bathroom were very clean.

set in a conservatory ,quiet location , service quite good, staff helpful, prepared to offer alternatives very handy carpark, free overnight from 4 pm to 9 am though ticket machine up the creek and only a pre recorded voice to answer any queries, close to station and bus stop Asda across the road, flat walking to town. Excellent starters very good portions for all the main meals.

Bedroom decor a little tired and old fashion. Needed updating but appreciate these are hard times and they are doing their best.

Convenient location for our visit to St Ives. Excellent breakfast pleasant young lady serving us.

The facade of the hotel looked nice, once inside however it was a different matter the furniture is out dated, no lift,terribly bed something out of a museum the whole inside of the hotel need’s gutting and redeveloped to be of a more modern standard. Bathroom was equally old fashioned hot tap not working properly toilet handle is one use from breaking. We wouldn’t use the bathing facilities fortunately it was only for one night no slip mat for what you could call a shower. We spoke to one staff member who told us that they regularly have to sort out the problems that arise from the dilapidated facilities. The staff we encountered where all very pleasant there was a good atmosphere in the early afternoon in the bar but when we arrived back after going out for a meal that atmosphere had disappeared and there was only two people in it. Barman (Lee) was very friendly there was a lady who worked her socks off cleaning the kitchen area we could see from our sitting in bar but didn’t get her name.

Close to train station, friendly staff. Large room.

Needs a bit of modernisation, usb phone sockets and curtains that fit the windows.

Die Matratzen auf den Zimmern. Wahrscheinlich hat da schon Queen Victoria darauf geschlafen. Kaltwasserhahn am Waschbecken ließ sich nicht aufdrehen. Wasserleitungen im Hotel sehr laut. Bad sehr lieblos renoviert. Die direkte Umgebung ist nicht wirklich einladend.
