Excellent location in Musselburgh. The pub and the restaurant are wonderful. Staff is friendly and professional.

It can be just a little noisy on weekend nights because the rooms are above the pub; but that's also part of the charm. Bring some ear buds and enjoy an audiobook or ear plugs. You'll be fine.

What a little gem !! Good location near to harbour and waterfront. Property tastefully renovated and spotlessly clean. Bar and Bistro on ground floor were excellent. We had a first class meal in bistro and service from a young well trained team was friendly and professional

A car park would have been a bonus but on street parking was not a problem

It is above a pub and it is incredibly loud.

We arrived on bikes and to put them in our room would've required us to push them up a flight of stairs. Ellie to the rescue and saved us this effort. The room and communal area were bright and clean. Every member of staff made us feel welcome and valued. Dinner was excellent as was the advice on wine choice. Breakfast is self-service with cereal and toast in the communal area.

All was fine apart from a strange and persistent and unpleasant smell in the shower-room/lavatory. I could not locate the origin and the facilities were very clean.
