Cold room to start . Quite pricy for what you get

The restaurant was lovely and the food was incredible

Unfortunately the bed and pillows were uncomfortable. No heat in bedroom and radiator was extremely hot in bathroom with no thermostat

The room was great : clean and warm; the beds were comfortable; the bathroom and shower immaculate. The communal breakfast area is nice - BUT the toaster needs changing, the cereals to be ‘healthier’ and the bread, butter and marmalade to be restocked regularly (without our needing to ask). Full marks for the Bed part of B&B but the breakfast provision is poor. There was plenty of milk and juice for the long weekend but only one tea towel between 4 rooms. We ended up buying muesli, yoghurt and fruit from the Lidl over the road. Maybe a microwave would help? That way guests could scramble eggs or make porridge. Krispies and cornflakes aren’t ideal as the only cereals in the winter. Such a pity - a little closer attention to the details would work wonders.

Breakfast provision is poor and not checked regularly enough. It’s a shame - we enjoyed so much about the room and the restaurant downstairs but a dodgy toaster, no fruit and very basic provisions spoiled the breakfast side of things. We bought muesli, yoghurt and fruit ourselves from Lidl.

Mooie ruime en propere kamer. Je kan makkelijk met de bus naar Edinburgh.

Er is geen parking voorzien dus je moet je auto ergens in de straat parkeren. Er wordt geen ontbijt voorzien, maar er ligt wel cornflakes en brood in de gemeenschappelijke ruimte.
