The location

The room was very snug

It was in a good location for my needs. The electric shower was really good. Although the room was very basic it was clean.

My room must have been directly above either walk in fridge or freezer. It made it really difficult to get to sleep as it was so noisy. The mattress quality was really poor. I could feel the springs in my sides all night. Although the shower was really good, I couldn’t get any hot water from the basin. I was also a little shocked about how dirty the windows were. You may think that’s petty.

Lively place to stay .

Had to be in that area early in the morning for work. Great location for a walk also.

Looked a little rough around the edges when we arrived but staff were fab, down to earth pub ,rooms were basic but comfy people were friendly

Convenient location. Separate entrance to the room via the car park. Very helpful staff.

No breakfast on site. But other options were local

The room was clean and though small it was comfortable

Very sadly when we arrived at 7.30 pm hoping to buy something to eat as advertised clearly outside and on the website, no food was available. And, despite a big sign outside saying Bed and Breakfast there was NO breakfast to be had - not even a breakfast basket. We felt we had been mis sold the package and feel we should have at least half our money back

The room was clean and had all we needed Large car park,

No food on offer in the bar, half the pub was closed for refurbishment ( it needs it), unpleasant atmosphere. No breakfast offered and the bar was locked the next morning- had to post the keys through the letterbox. Avoid.
