West Brae Inn

Err. No breakfast is offered. you get a small room with a bed and there's a shared bathroom close by. The room is small but clean enough and the bed comfortable. No wardrobe: clothes must stay in your case. A large size television in the room was inoperative. (I don't watch television so no disappointment for me)

When I arrive I couldn't get into the place. I went around the corner to a newsagent shop for advice and he had the keys. This should information should be posted once booking is made. No relevance for me, but for other visitors they could make sure the television is working. On the positive side, I left my (electric) toothbrush behind and they posted it to me free of charge.

Staff were excellent and couldn't do enough for you and close to all amenities

Only thing was a shared bathroom

was cheap and close to city centre

was bed bugs in the bed, wasn’t advertised that it was a shared accommodation so had no clue who or what the other people were, shower was either roasting hot or freezing cold and the toilet didn’t flush properly, dodgy check in
