Ozzy Lodge Semporna

The room was clean and big. When we got our room and the light in the bathroom wasn’t working, they gave us direct a new room. The breakfast was the best we got the last few weeks, a really big buffet! 😊 The stuff doesn’t speak much English, but the translater worked well and they were really friendly.

Everything is excellent. Clean room/lodge, food, safety, and location.

ozzy lodge is well recommended by some travel blogger, and it does live up to its reputation for being a lovely local homestay in semporna! i love the environment, super clean and neat, facilities are great, feel like home, staff are really helpful, pretty eco friendly with the sustainable idea of travelling. great location with supermarkets and restaurants around, but you might need a 20min walk or 5min ride to get to the jetty, i prefer that because i can enjoy the peaceful vibe of the town and some local life without so many tourism commercial stuff around!

it will be great if the home stay can provide a space for laundry, i might have used the balcony but there were other guests smoking in that area… i wouldn’t want my laundry to get the smell of that …

As I was leaving, I thought “I can see myself living here permanently and being very happy.” There is a calm and a peace to the atmosphere here; I’m not sure what exactly to attribute it to, but I felt so extremely safe and relaxed during my stay here. The staff is wonderful. Genuinely kind-hearted and soft-spoken local staff with the professional manner of a world class location. There are restaurants and a laundromat within walking distance. The rooms and lobbies are immaculately clean and charmingly decorated with cozy appeal.

Very small rooms, no windows, bath to super small. The staff can’t really help you, they are playing video games or watching YouTube videos all night. From 5:30 am it’s extremely noisy, even ear plugs won’t help. I wouldn’t recommend at all!

The TV on the first day was not working at the dining area. In addition, the TV in the room was also not working.
