Hotel Colonial Victonella

El personal era muy amigable, el hotel era hermoso y aún tiene mucho potencial.

Durante nuestra estadía llegó una familia muy desconsiderada y ruidosa, que parqueó su camioneta afuera del hotel y puso su música al máximo volumen. Además usaron la piscina hasta pasadas las 11:30pm. Sería bueno que definieran bien las reglas de convivencia, y como tope máximo den las 10pm para uso de áreas comunes porque en las habitaciones se escucha absolutamente todo. Solamente porque el staff era muy amigable, servicial e intervino cuando le mencionamos la situación les doy 8/10. Si no pudo haber sido un 0. La presión de la ducha pudo ser mejor.

Las instalaciones son preciosas. Cerca del centro de granada, pero no tanto como para no poder descansar.

Mejorar la limpieza, estuvimos 5 días y nunca nos preguntaron si deseábamos limpieza en la habitación.

Our room was a family room which was tiny and toilet didn’t flush effectively. The staff didn’t seem to know what to do. They were young but couldn’t speak English, which I don’t expect everyone should. However they were young and running hospitality in a tourist area, so I would expect them to know the basics or be able to meet my limited Spanish. I had to find staff who seemed disinterested. Then explain breakfast desayuno. They looked confused, it took a while to explain we would like breakfast for 4 people. The breakfast was delicious.

The hotel is set in a beautiful historic building and is walking distance to the town and historic centre.

Room wasn't cleaned, toilet bins not emptied over 4 nights, 5 days, Inspite of requesting. Shower was dreadful and no hot water. EFTPOS machine did not seem to work at all and I had to go around Granada and Masaya for 2 days until I finally found a bank that would give me so much cash out. Request for late check out was totally ignored. The worst was the attitude of the staff. Just couldn't be bothered. No courtesy, no apology and often pretending not to understand. I wouldn't stay here again. For the price, it wasn't worth it at all.
