Firehouse Inn

Friendly and helpful staff in a unique setting of an old firehouse. The room was well-appointed and the overall concept of the place is unique. The room had an ADA compliant shower.

The rooms are above a working restaurant. To get to the rooms you enter through a side door to the building that goes past the kitchen, and directly through the room containing the staff lockers. The smell is quite unpleasant and wafts upstairs to the hallway where guest rooms are located. This was never stated in the information provided before, during or after booking. If you are a potential guest who needs ADA compliant accommodations be aware that there is no elevator to access the rooms, all of which are on the second floor. To access the aforementioned side door one must ascend two cement steps without any bannister or railing - then you will need to ascend a steep, poorly lit staircase that passed code nearly a century ago. This also was never stated in the information provided before, during or after booking. The group of unhoused people who frequented the parking lot never harassed us.

Le lieu est superbe et la rénovation très réussie. L’appartement est vraiment sympa et agréable.

Par contre le couchage dans le canapé est très inconfortable, matelas peu épais et structure de soutien molle. Un des deux a dû aller dormir dans le sofa à côté.

Das Firehouse Inn ist eine alte Feuerwache, die als Hotel bzw. unten als Restaurant umgebaut ist. Die Zimmer sind wunderschön und im Retro-Stil eingerichtet. Alles sauber und ordentlich - man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Parkplätze hat es hintem dem Haus genug. Das Personal ist freundlich und kompetent.

Es gibt nichts auszusetzen. Aber vielleicht der Hinweis, dass das Haus nicht barrierefrei ist und man über ein Treppe in den ersten Stock muss.
