"Inspiring location. Accommodation disappointing."

Location is just as describe-amidst silver mining ruins. Also, to envision what it was like 20-100+ years ago.

That it didn’t match the photos presented in the ad. No flowers & furnishings with pillows that need cleaning. A lot of cleaning. No owner check in when electricity went out due to a storm. We looked via our cell phone flashlight for candles & matched. About an hour later we found a lantern. Mouse droppings in kitchen drawers & bathroom.

"a beautiful (too quick) respite"

the silence alone was worth it - the facilities unique, rustic

the mormon crickets were distracting and prevented any prolonged outdoor activities - likereading a book or syar gazung

I didn’t go to the property. I tried to cancel the room a few days before my reservation but couldn’t find a phone number. I sent an email letting the location know my plans had changed but my card was still charged. I don’t even know who to talk to about it!

"Very good"

Friendly host. Beautiful little corner of Nevada. Felt like a homesteader for the night. This place is rustic, so set your expectations accordingly and you'll enjoy your stay. Bring your food because it is no longer a B&B.

It is a very peaceful place to stay! The owner communicates promptly and is easily accessible for questions. The views are beautiful and there is a lot of history there! There is a kitchen there to use which is very helpful for cooking your food!

"It was relaxing, romantic and serene."

We loved the history, which was everywhere, the serenity, and the general ambiance. It was one of the most amazing places we’ve ever stayed. Having said that, we had the whole house to ourselves. The experience would have been different had there been other guests in the house.

There was nothing we didn’t like!
