All the staff were very friendly and made me feel welcome which was lovely as I was travelling alone. The room and ensuite was clean and comfortable My evening meal was very nice and good value for money Ideal location close to A5

The room was lovely and large and looked clean on arrival. Lots of choice for tea and coffee etc.

Upon using the bathroom it was not as clean as the rest of the room. The beds were very uncomfortable, either very cheap or very old mattresses that you could feel each individual spring. The back staircase used to exit when the pub wasn’t open is very dark and no lights came on the landing when it was dark.

Location was good and ample park. The ensuite shower was good and the bed comfortable

No breakfast available and table in the room was poor.
