"One day will surely be a lovely place"

Ed went out of his way to solve a problem we had with Chilham room on our first night. As under new ownership it is in need of much upgrading, do not envy the task. However it could and I'm sure will be a lovely property some day if investment is put into it

Due to change in ownership there was no chef so had to go into Hythe to find food which on a Sunday can prove difficult. However the Butt of Sherry came to our rescue

"Noisy"

Good location and close to the wedding venue

Noisy macerator in bathroom, we had no idea about. Woke out kids up. Went off at regular intervals when we were showering Lack of hanging space No kitchen as under new management so we had to go out early and find places for a cooked breakfast.

Room good facilities. Rather small. Restaurant was not open, and we were not informed of such. Didn’t have breakfast, only continental offered, due to restaurant closure.

Great location for our purposes. Nice restaurants and bars close by. Friendly and helpful welcome.

Pub and restaurant was closed for refurbishment and no offer of compensation was offered for the lack amenities that we expected. We were also not informed of the refurbishment ahead of time.

"Overnight stay for 40th"

Staff were friendly, location good, easy to park, beds comfy, room size good.

The property has changed hands however I did mention we were staying for my husbands 40th and there were absolutely no mention, recognition of this. Was quite disappointed that the batgeoom was dirty. There was no mention of the rooms having macerators so the noise and inconvenience of this until 1, 2 am with other guests not respecting the 10pm cut off time was awful and disruptive. I think the price of the rooms was extortionate to what was on offer really. There was no none around when we left, like a ghost town. Just dropped the keys and went. Had no atmosphere, again they've just changed hands so maybe had something to do with it. I hope the owners turn it into something fab.

"Not value for money ."

Renovation work in progress. Should have been told there was no evening meal available. Even the staff could not help us work the TV.
