Castle Inn

We were using this as an overnight stay before boarding le shuttle Lovely village location We had an evening meal that was good value. Bar staff were very attentive and a credit to the Castle Inn. Lovely big rooms

Outside of the property is a little tired, it was a lovely sunny day and we would have loved sit outside but the furniture has seen better days

Friendly staff good choice of beers and wines

Rooms tired and unloved door handle loose shower tray not waterproof noisy macerator leaking taps

Staff very helpful and the meal we had was good, nice and hot well presented

little Hotel just needs a TLC

The staff and owners were very friendly and the food was good. My room was clean and a nice size. The property was in a quiet neighborhood.

Finding parking was challenging in the afternoon but improved after 6PM when I could then park in the small public lot across the street.

We booked somewhere we knew would be peaceful. We both have busy jobs and wanted abit of time out . It was in such a pretty village run by a husband and wife

The breakfast was very good. Hosts very friendly.

During heavy rain water dripped through our bedroom ceiling. The bathroom needed a shelf to put things on and or a stall to put clothes on. Shower cubicle very small. The view from our room was over an overgrown garden with furniture that needed attention.

The whole building and grounds is in a very neglected state
