Castle Inn by Greene King Inns

The staff were really lovely and helpful.

I slept in the room in the Carpark. It would benefit from a good curtain and discussion with the people upstairs about being quieter.

Central location. Room was basic but ok

Breakfast was nice when it arrived but service a bit chaotic & very slow. Seemed under staffed.

The room had a bath and shower. Perfect after a long hike, or shopping trip for that matter. Plenty of tea and coffee available, coffee bags too. Situated central to Bakewell and the pub is Greene King, so has a good menu.

Location very good for a walking break. The room was adequate. The restaurant was cosy and menu choice good

Unfortunately our breakfast, although in principle very good, was either overcooked or undercooked and therefore not enjoyable. The first impression of the venue was that it was in desperate need of a painting and and thorough deep clean. We enjoyed our evening meals which were typical pub grub and good value.

Our first breakfast was a little cold, but the second day was lovely. The staff were very friendly

Locationnis perfect and parking is a bonus. Food was beautiful and the pub is welcoming and really nice

The room wasn’t anything to write home about, but it was clean, the bed comfortable and there’s everything that you need for a night away.
