"Charming 16th century pub inn, a castle and a memorable stay!"

10.0

Location is perfect for a stay in Chepstow. Right next to the castle, the river Wye, a public car park, and scenic walks. This 16th century inn is full of charm and fantastic value. Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. Breakfast was a highlight.

Nothing, it exceeded my expectations especially for the price paid.

"Great location, comfort and hospitality at an affordable price"

10.0

The room (double with castle view) was really lovely: very large, with a huge bed and easy chairs, and tastefully decorated. It was also very well-insulated and sound-proofed; we couldn't hear any traffic in the street or noise from neighbouring rooms. The inn is very close to the public car park, and right next to the castle and the river. Although the inn doesn't do evening meals, they recommended a very good Italian restaurant just a few yards down the street. They provide you with a lengthy list of breakfast choices, but we didn't realise that in addition to this, there is also a buffet of cereals, fruit, yoghurts and juice.

"A nice accommodation for a good nights sleep and nice breakfast."

10.0

A very nice clean room. A fantastic view of the castle right through our bedroom window. We had a wonderful, quiet nights sleep. The check in was quick and easy. We did not take advantage of the pub, but it seemed nice. The breakfast was wonderful. The overall charm of the place made this a wonderful stay for us.

Carrying our luggage up the stairs would have been a bit of challenge so we just carried in a small bag of our essentials. That made this a non-issue for us.

Location and price. The breakfast was good.

They promised free parking but upon arrival this seemed not to be the case. Unfortunately no meals were served
