It’s a pub and close to the castle car park . And weekends have live music . So it is noisy

Extensive choices, all very well cooked and presented on lovely hot plates.

As it’s a very old building, bedroom floor was on a bit of a slope!

Good location, lovely room and good breakfast. No problem to store our bicycles.

A bit noisy but become quiet after 10pm

This was an amazing place, a stunning historical pub. I was in the lovely downstairs room, opening to the street, and it felt luxurious. The band in the pub played to midnight, which was great music and not loud, through the wall. Excellent breakfast. Great location, in the town and close to the castle.

If you stay upstairs, it may be a bit too loud when the bands in the pub are playing.
