Royal Hotel Motel Scone

Not very much, I will never stay at this place ever again.

The cigarette smoke coming upstairs was putrid. The band played until near midnight, hence I couldn't get to sleep and had to get up at 5.30am to continue my journey. There were no blankets on the bed, had to ask staff for some. There wasn't a cupboard in the room to hang my clothes in, had to lay them on the spare bed. No fridge in the room, and no water at all. Absolutely disgusting old place!!

Once transfered to a better room everything was as it should be.

I started in the upstairs pub rooms. Do not do this. Crap Old small dirty nothing in there. Like a cardboard. Motel rooms downstair are ok. Not up stairs at all. I lasted one night and transferred first thing in morn.

Polite, but distracted staff, too busy wanting to pour beers than fix issue

There was NO booking at property, Booking.com stuffed it up

Good Location. Room was clean. Staff were polite and service was great.

Rooms were a little cold, could have done with some extra blankets, there's Pigeons in the roof, which were very noisy. Bathrooms needed some TLC. There were no bins in the rooms or bathrooms. The bistro was closed for renovations.
