" This rustic inn and resort offers comfortable rooms with modern amenities including free Wi-Fi, mini refrigerators, coffee makers, and cable TV. Whitney's inn offers a heated outdoor pool and lounge area with yard games such as ping pong, horseshoes and cornhole. In the summer and fall the outdoor fishing pond is open for guests to enjoy kayaking, fishing and campfires. Breakfast is not offered at Whitney's inn. Dinner is served in the family friendly Shovel Handle Pub Wednesday - Friday from 5:00pm - 10:00pm. Dinner is not offered any other days. Local attractions include Black Mountain Ski area less than 1 mile away and Story Land amusement park less than 4 miles away.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. A deposit may be required at the property.

"It was nice but I wouldn’t go back"

It was in a pretty area and the staff was friendly

It was tiny rooms, especially the bathroom. The bed was uncomfortable and the fridge kept making a loud noise. Also the one restaurant on the property was closed, I guess it’s closed Sundays Mondays and Tuesdays

Comfortable beds, clean room, fire pit for marshmallows in the evening, restaurant with live music.

Wish they had a breakfast restaurant. They have coffee, orange juice and muffins to go, but no place for a sit down meal.

"The inn made for a great stay with the excellent staff and the ability to walk to the ski slopes."

The Inn at Whitney's Farm offers a fantastic location with walking access to Black Mountain Ski area. The staff were friendly and helpful and provided a welcoming experience. There is an onsite restaurant/pub with live music and great food and drinks. Other options are also available in the area within a short distance. We will definitely be returning.
