Writing this before we leave in the morning, what a fantastic location we have had a room at the front with a sea view and what a view totally fantastic ,the entertainment team are great and always looking for something to do, bus stop is a 10 min walk and straight into playa blanca 1 euro 40 The food is not of a five star its a 3 star so dont expect the gourmet, it great and the choices are adequate Would highly recommend, as we are thinking on returning next year Only thing really needed is coffee and tea facilities in the rooms great holiday 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

This is a 3 star hotel so don’t expect the Ritz. However it is set in the most beautiful surroundings. We booked a sea view and I can honestly say it was the best sea view we have ever had. The rooms were spotlessly cleaned daily by the maid, all the staff including reception, restaurant, bar staff, and especially the entertainment team were really friendly and welcoming. They work so hard but always have a smile.. The entertainment team were always on hand with different activities all day long and into the night. They deserve a special thank you! Only downside is the lack of a fridge and the air-con only works in the bedroom. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Location is quite a bit out. Okay if able walk and no kids. 15 min walk to bus stop. The pool area spacious and room average views amazing. Very disappointed no fridge in room or kettle iv never had this before. Has be the worst all inclusive ive had. The pool bar which food looked good couldnt eat because swarms of flies on food nothing was covered and even after people saying nothing was done. So dispointing. Even main reaturant area was full of flies. We had eat out everyday was such a turn off. They could of had music at pool no atmosphere. For what paid very disppointing.

We really enjoyed our holiday. Rooms were very clean. We had nice sea view. Food was very good. Staff very friendly. We arrived after 10pm and were given a nice cold buffet meal. Early breakfast can be booked if you are leaving early in the morning. Only thing was if you have any disability or not able to walk far the nearest bus stop is a fair distance and if you wish to access the sea for snorkelling it can be tricky.

I stayed at the hotel in the end of September 2025 and it was a really good stay! :) The rooms are a bit outdated, but that's fine for me. They were clean and in the end I do not come on holidays to spend the days in the room. :) Only thing I was really missing in there was a fridge. The hotel itself is really nice, quiet. I enjoyed the beach with the private places, always plenty of free space. The access to the sea was ok, maybe better to have shoes, but it was great. The highlight was the food - always plenty of choices and very well prepared! Especially appreciated the Spanish/Canarian options. Good job and compliments to the chef! :) I did not have much encounter with the animation team. One guy from Acttiv, Brasilian one (sorry I don't remember the name), was nice and friendly and I saw him doing some activities. The rest was not really that nice, never smiled nor greeted anyone, which being a former entertainer myself seemed pretty strange to me. In overall I had a great stay and would definitely return to this hotel. Thank you! :)

We arrived at SBH MÓNICA with very little expectation as I had read the reviews on here. But we were pleasantly surprised. Yes hotel is a little out of the way but a lovely 30min walk along the coastal path was delightful. Our room had a stunning sea view ! Room was spotless clean as was the bathroom and bedroom. No need for a remote as our air con came on with the card!! Food was warm and plentiful. The pizza from the pool bar was the best ! The bar staff especially "Rachid " was helpful and so friendly he's a credit to the hotel ! As for the entertainment staff we were invited to participate in all activities although we declined lol. I didn't find anyone rude or such like !! Great hotel for some rest and relaxing!! Just one little thing was the lack of fridge especially for maybe medication something the hotel could look into.

I have just stayed here for a week with my family (partner, five year old, five month old and 76 year old nana). First of all there is no fridge or kettle in the room which isn’t ideal if you have a baby drinking milk, I’ve never stayed in a hotel that doesn’t have a fridge and that’s going abroad every year pretty much since been 7 years old, so keeping baby milk fresh has been a nightmare to say the least. The majority of the entertainment staff are absolutely brilliant, especially Leo Jordan and edo. They all made so much effort with my five year old, even put a kids disco on for him every night even though it was only him taking part. The bar staff and waiters in the restaurant were the same, always making effort to make my five year old laugh, talking to my 5 month old in the pram etc. The maid we had was lovely and our room was always tidied to a good standard. Unfortunately it can’t be said for some others who work at the hotel. One afternoon my nana asked a lady at reception if they would change some euros for her, all she got responded with was ‘no’ with a terrible attitude, I wouldn’t have spoken to my cat that way. There is a shop in the hotel which a lady works in, we have been in twice, both times we haven’t had so much as a smile or a hello how are you. My nan asked the lady a question and again was met with just a ‘no’. Why are you working in a job which means talking to the public if you don’t want to talk to the public? One of the entertainment staff who unfortunately I don’t know his name but you only need to spend one minute with him and you will definitely know who it is, is rude, other guests we spoke to agreed that he isn’t friendly like the other entertainers. My partner said hi how are you to him in the restaurant one night and he completely ignored him, my five year old also said hello, also got ignored. Believe me it wasn’t a language barrier because he can speak perfect English when he wants you to join in on activities. One day my son was playing with a float in the pool, a life guard came over and and said ‘not allowed, take it out’ and walked off, no reason as to why. Just to test the theory the next day we went back with a float, the other lifeguard working didn’t say a word about it and he had it in the pool all day, so god knows what that was about but again just plain rude. The food is average at best, the fruit is dry, the meat is dry, no options for children really except chips (which 9/10 are cold). Don’t know if it’s coincidence but the two nights I had fish I was In bed with a poorly tummy. I had a burger from the pool bar for lunch one day it was flat cold as were the chips. The building needs some tlc, paint flaking off everywhere, plates badly chipped in the restaurant, ripped towels, bits of wall missing, fans in the room are noisy and the room is still boiling even with it on, a couple of guests told us they had mould in the room and when they told reception they were basically told to get on with it because they couldn’t (or wouldn’t) move them. we did have a lovely stay and majority of the staff were pleasant but I have no idea how some of them staff are working there when their attitude stinks and are far from welcoming. I can quite easily say we wouldn’t return for another holiday.
