"Escape to the Country"

Location and the beautiful building. Comfortable bed and quirky room. Lovely garden area and inner courtyard. Very nice evening meal and breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Parking on site.

That we didn't have longer there.

"Expensive and disappointing"

Lovely location

Stayed in room 22. Unable to sleep due to noisy boilers. Guests in room next to us got moved. We were offered a free nights stay to compensate (as were other guests)but unfortunately this has never materialised Loved Lavenham but will never stay in The Swan again

"A great weekend away with our family!"

Breakfast was generous, well prepared and very tasty. We ate dinner on one night and the food was absolutely superb. The Spa facilities were clean and the staff were friendly and informative.

The bar service was a little abrupt, but not rude. Other than that, no complaints at all.

Historic buildings, beautifully restored for high quality usage. Staff were exceptional, room was. Reasonably spacious, great bed. Excellent food and service.

In our room number 6, was a handheld shower wand over a deep bath,not good for elderly guests. Easy fix take out the bath and install a quality.walk shower

Great character overall, fantastic staff, enjoyed use of the spa facilities, good meal and a decent nights sleep in a nice room. Overall very good value for money

Everything was great but had a problem with pests in our ceiling cavity. Quite noisy during the night and needs attention from a customer and building maintenance perspective
