"Great property in a perfect location let down by poorly trained poorly presented wait staff. The chap working in the spa"

Lovely old character property that’s pretty well maintained

Some of the the wait staff were surly. Experienced the worst Bloody Mary ever. No Worcestershire sauce, no Tabasco no celery salt. No I’ve. Tiny rubbish glass. Asked for celery and got 3 matchsticks.

Warm, atmospheric, relaxing - spar available to residents as part of room booking (we missed this and missed the opportunity to elevate our stay)

Sound proofing in room not great but ear plugs provided - this is a very old building so comes with the authenticity of age

Gallery Restaurant

Breakfast Minor issues. 1. Good selection of preserves but always running out of Marmalade, needs a higher ratio of marmalade to the rest 2. No granulated sugar for topping cereals had to ask for it 3. Always running out of orange juice and slow to replace, why not have 2 pitchers 4. Coffee pots rarely have 2 full cups in them
