Rondador Cotopaxi

Really beautiful building, it looks like a chalet. A lot of animals around including two lamas. They organise tours to Cotopaxi, you can choose several options. The food was really delicious, they have vegetarian options as well. Fernando and his team are really friendly.

Amazing hotel! It is very beautiful with the best view over Cotopaxi Volcano from the restaurant. Rooms are very cozy and equipped with heaters. Shower has hot water. The food is delicious - both for dinner and for breakfast. I think we had the best potato soup in Ecuador here. And the best part is the owner who is the nicest and most welcoming person. He can also help you to organize your time in Cotopaxi

Everything was amazing! The communication from booking to arriving was great on how to get to the accommodation! The staff were so friendly and helpful! When we checked in we were given a bigger room to make our stay more comfortable! The restaurant on site is great and the food was all delicious including the breakfast which had a good selection to choose from! The animals on site were a very cute touch! Lots of chickens and ducks, and 2 Llamas that were very friendly and we got to feed carrots! They also can help with tours - we did the Cotopaxi base camp walk/hike - it was just us two with the guide and great value including lunch! They also offer affordable laundry!

Fernando, his wife, and staff were very attentive and excellent hosts and they spoke great english. The location is close to Cotopaxti and they gave great recommendations. Francisco, the guide, spoke great english. He is very knowledgeable and patient along the tours. Food is good and prices were fair.

The shower can be fickle when adjusting but there is hot water.

Rondador Cotopaxi is your best bet in the area of the Cotopaxi park. Highly accessible from the Panamericana, this place offers amazing food for breakfast, lunch and dinner (many people stop here on their way up or down the Cotopaxi as the restaurant is renown all-around for its great food). Our host Fernando made sure we had everything covered and organized daily tours to any destinations (Illinizas, Cotopaxi Park etc.) with his guides. The rooms were smallish but very cozy and very calm

Fernando was really pleasant owner. Restaurant offered very good coffee (no only instant), I love their soup. Around hotel was a lot of animals - I could feed the llamas with carrots. Very very very nice, calm, comfortable place where to stay during your visit Cotopaxi parque. Nice view from restaurant in case volcano is visible :D ...
