Hotel Sonia Chipude

Hotel Sonia is fantastic - I had a lovely spacious room, with beautiful views from the balcony, lovely staff, tasty food and an excellent breakfast, highly recommend!

We liked everything, particularly the very friendly staff, ambience of the hotel and first-class breakfast (coffee, fresh orange juice, yoghurt, melon, ham, cheese, roll, butter + preserves!)

- The room we booked was supposed to have a double bed and bath but didn't, but no major issue for a one night stay. - Very noisy hotel. You could hear everything so it wasn't very peaceful. Other guests were talking loudly from 7am onwards (not the hotels fault though) - only one chair on terrace, we would've liked two so we could sit out together.

I loved the location in a small town in the hills of Gomera, and the warm welcome. A glass of wine was accompanied by a generous serving of peanuts and enjoyed on the terrace as the sun set. It was lovely. The room was spacious and very clean.

The bed was a little soft and wiggly, also - as a vegetarian I'd have been so happy to have more tasty options for dinner and a tastier, perhaps sourdough or multi-grain bread with breakfast.

Great location for backpacks traveler, everything you need for a reasonable price, kind staff, very good breakfast

The hotel is just perfect! The restaurant is really nice and you get tasty big portions of local food that keeps you going on the trails that leave right next to the hotel. The staff is super helping on everything. We even got a Christmas present from them!

Make sure you take warm clothes and footwear
