Hotel Sonia Chipude

Smiles wherever you look and a warm welcome. Room was big and super clean, preheated from an electrical oven. Dinner and breakfast was exceptional If you look for a quiet place, thats the place to be. Beautiful small to long hikes just in front of the door. Will be back!

nothing, it was all perfect

A family hotel run by an admirable lady, Sonia! She is the soul of the whole place and makes you feel very comfortable. The hotel has a nice bar and restaurant where you can eat tasty comfort food. The room was very clean with a nice balcony from where we could enjoy the sunset. Chipude can be a great base for hiking; next time we will stay longer!

We arrived late after hiking all the way from San Sebastián along the GR131. This hotel is right along the trail and was such a sight to behold after a long day. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the meal we had with choices that represented the local foods of La Gomera was filling, well priced and excellent. The room was spacious and clean and the showers had excellent water pressure. But it was the staff who really made our stay. They were just so friendly. They helped us check the bus from Vallehermoso and even helped us wrap up our breakfast to go as we wanted to start off early the next morning. Best stop for those on the GR131!

It was like coming home. Very warm welcome. An excellent stop during GR131 hike. Clean rooms with terras for beautiful views of the moon at night. I enjoyed the food and breakfast a lot.
