Very friendly staff and a great breakfast

The room was at the front and was a bit noisy from the road.

Breakfast was lovely, nice delicious food and lovely staff. Very helpful and cater for GF . Had air con and a fan , fridge in room was a bonus.

The shower wasn't great but price of the room was very reasonable

This is a difficult question to answer. We felt The building although old, did look tired. Making it an expensive Two nights stay. But at the end of the day, we were happy.

Parking is easy. Room was very comfortable, I slept like a log. Very comfy bed, no noise. really impressive pub menu and an excellent selection of beers. Breakfast was filling - don't remember eating lunch that day:)

Can't think of a negative here. Honestly

The room appeared nice and premises broadly attractive. Breakfast was pleasant as were staff.

Rooms are above pub up reasonably steep stairs with additional intervening steps on landings. The room appeared nice but they had clearly not cleaned it, or had started to and then forgotten to finish the job, with dirty coffee cups and spoons lurking! The opened week-old milk (with the last week's date written on the top) sat in the part opened fridge. Toilet used a macerator device and required several flushes to remove human waste, while still leaving a miasma. Water very hot and high-sided bath tub/ shower was on a plinth and very hard for older person to get in to or out of. We noted the piles of laundry bags in corridor piled neatly to keep the fire door open (!) Overall a poor impression of what could have been a pleasant venue.

Breakfast was enjoyable. Staff at breakfast were polite and friendly.

The room was disappointing. A fire door to the outside was partially covered by a net curtain, there was a gap in the door to the outside which did not feel safe. There were no protectors on the pillows. Decor was tired and dated and dusty. Room key was on a large key ring which was awkward and extremely dated.
