Wunderschönes Hotel und Gelände mit vielen Tieren. Extrem ruhig und idyllisch. Leckeres Frühstück und freundliches Personal.

Everything is nicely arranged. Large green garden with peacocks

They did not respond to any of my inquiries via bookings.com, contact us form or reception email. They took more than a week to refund the security deposit.

"Gorgeous place, lovely staff and grounds"

Absolutely gorgeous place. I love that the animals and free and roaming around and the grounds are kept immaculate.

The cottage could’ve done with a bit of tlc, carpets had patches (dog friendly) so we can complain, the wardrobe was a bit flimsy too.

"A great weekend break in a lovely location with everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay."

Location is fabulous, particularly for Scafell Pike. Our room was well equipped and comfortable and the food was very good. All the staff were friendly, helpful and hard working.

Some inconsiderate fellow guests in one of the self catering properties took their party outside at 2.30 in the morning! Not the hotels fault though.

The lovely man on reception and in the bar was one of the nicest people ive ever met, the location and historic hall are just beautiful and the two-bedroom cottage was so affordable! Great access to Scafell Pike, our location for the weekend and just a lovely vibe
