Slightly dated but good value for money

Easy to find

Shower over bath very old, kept on going from very hot to freezing cold. Also no where to put your shampoo etc. pillows very uncomfortable.

It was a spacious hotel, the room had all your necessary amenities. It was fantastic that the hotel had a pool, for the most part we had it to ourselves. The view from the dining room at breakfast is fantastic, almost panoramic views of the bay. In my opinion it was a shame that they have such heavy curtains up (they have blinds as well) it would really make the most of the amazing view they have in their breakfast room if the curtains were removed. The hotel is a great location to visit Shanklin Chine which is very beautifully lit up at night!

We had a problem with the shower in our room which didn't work properly, and nearly scalded my partner. The staff couldn't resolve the issue on the night as their was no maintenance staff around at that point but they were quick to provide us with another room key. We didn't move into the room as we were only staying the one night and had already unpacked but it meant we at least had access to a functioning shower.

Interiors of the hotel are dated, and the room had a lingering smell. There were no soap or shampoo in the bathrooms (they're only available at reception). Walls were so thin we could hear neighbours on the sides, people walking above and a concert in the bar below, which lasted until 11pm. Wifi was slow (1MB/s) and unstable. Breakfast was mostly oil.
