Great views, location, iconic building, breakfast & parking

Whilst main room was fine, bathroom was poor - floor tiles not grouted, limited room inside to move as old oversized basin, door didn’t close, catch on door didn’t work, internal night light didn’t work, there was a glass panel above door so putting light on at night illuminated whole room, no basin soap (we provided our own), very noisy plumbing, no shelving or hooks for towels & clothes. Food in restaurant ok as was service, but not what I expected for a 4 star hotel & prices charged for a standard room.

"Loved the privacy, amenity, comfort and views"

The spacious interior of our room, the private patio, the heated towel rail, comfortable chairs for watching tv, elevator so we didn’t have to haul luggage, views from the property, restaurant so we didn’t have to leave if we didn’t want to.

"Great view from hotel"

Beautiful location with a great view. Building has a lot of character. Our room was large and clean.

Our room was so hot the first night that it was hard to sleep. It wasn't possible to adjust the temperature from our room. The next day, we did ask management to turn down the heat, and we opened the windows to let in cool air. Then we were fine the following nights.
