Poor location. No proper communication. Locks didn’t work on either doors internal or external. Plaster peeling off walls. Ripped & dirty sheets. Headboards not attached. Shower sprayed water over bathroom and it didn’t drain. Bright green lights in bedroom on ceiling. Noisy. Steep unsafe stairs.

The beds were comfy.

Door to room wasn't great needed new lock. The front door was never locked at night-time. Really noisy people staying above. No soap in bathroom. Owner didn't give us code to get in till 3.20pm/ 3.25pm. Didn't answer when trying to ring him.

Location

It was a converted shop unit and wasn’t particularly clean . Had roller shutters on the windows that rattled all night in the wind. There was mould on walls and in bathroom .

We couldn't get into the doss hole

Standing outside trying to get in all you could smell was weed. We had to have our money back and find another hotel which cost 3 times more which I am in the process of getting our money back

The beds were really comfortable. The place was easy to find and was cheep and cheerful, only 3 miles away from the exhibition centre where Comic con was being held that we attended. The shower was lovely.

When we arrived the room hadn't been cleaned due to a miscommunication between the staff. The owner of the property was not on site and we didn't meet him at all during our stay. After a message to the owner, me and my friends returned to Comic Con for a few hours while the room was cleaned. When we came back it was all clean and we even had fancy bedding (butterflies and flowers) for the trouble and state of the room previously. Some of the neighbouring rooms were playing loud music past midnight, but again, a message to the owner and the issue was resolved with the threat that the bluetooth speaker would be taken off them until the morning. Which is only reasonable since it is illegal to play loud music past 11pm.
