hungry in arrival and the chef was on holiday Kitchen closed the pub recommended down the road wad not dog friendly so after a google we found the PIG IN MUCK fantastic food dog friendly and very welcoming

The village

Was told on arrival there was no food available but there was a pizza van in the car park! Have contacted the pub numerous times to request a VAT receipt, but had no response at all. Vey basic, not very clean - even the semi-skimmed milk had gone off.

Lovely room, though a lot of stairs up and down. Fan was provided, which was wonderful, as very hot during our stay. Bed was super comfy.

When we arrived the blind was on the floor, and we had to put it up to stand a chance of sleeping. Had to go elsewhere for dinner as the kitchen was closed.

Young lady behind bar was very friendly and helpful. A good location for work on the large warehouse site just down the road

For a Marstones pub the real ale was off and only one pump working. No food being served and second night no hot water. Had to ask for coffee and milk as no service done on room during the day. I think the manager or landlord needs to seriously consider what they are doing
