The ambience and the small town is calm and beautiful.

The landlady is lovely, she was very welcoming and gave us a bigger room when she saw we had our 2 doggos with us (who also stay for free which is great). The room (9) was adequate for one night and surprisingly quiet seen as there was live music in the pub and a lively atmosphere. Although they don’t do food at the moment the landlady advised us that the pub down the road does (2min walk) - it really nice food there and dog friendly outside.

It’s a lively pub, not a quaint village pub and we did feel a little out of place. It was a busy Friday night with many drunk people having a good time. It wasn’t totally what we were expecting but it was only for one night.

Loved it. Perfect place, cant fault anything. It was clean, comfortable, lots of parking, and quiet!

No curtains

Just needed a bed for the night after attending a wedding nearby so location was good. Surrounding area was nice abcc do quiet. The lady who checked me in and took me to the room was pleasant and helpful.

Had to go into the quite busy bar to check in.

Perfect location for my work. Straight forward and convenient.
