Absolutely nothing

Tiny rooms, staff rude, had to walk through pub and restaurant to get to rooms, stained bed sheets, unclean bathroom

Near the station. Nice staff. Clean room. Nescafe coffee, good kettle (no milk but I had my own and I'm sure they would've given milk if I'd asked at the bar...which is better than little cartons!). Clean white towels. Clean white bedding. Dog friendly. Free car parking. Reasonably priced. I'm a light sleeper and normally wear ear plugs, but I didn't need them - the room was quiet once the pub had closed, and I slept well. Shower was hot and sufficiently powerful. My expectations reading other reviews were low, but it wasn't as bad as some people are saying - I had the single room and it was fine for what I wanted. It was carnival day when I arrived and the staff were mega busy, but were still helpful and friendly.

Window was broken so couldn't let any air in. It's not really a 'hotel', more a bar/restaurant with a few rooms. It's a little 'tired' and tatty and feels like it's not had much attention for a number of years. I'd say stay here if you want cheap and cheerful, it's not the Ritz, and it's in Bathgate, not Mayfair!

Nothing it was cold dirty noisy and uncomfortable.

Everything really poor hotel. Like a 1970s bed sit really bad. Bed like sleeping on rocks pillows like A4 paper curtains don’t fit window tv tiny bathroom disgusting towels like sand paper.

Shower goes hot, cold, hot cold....

It was worth the money paid.
