Netuk House a heritage boutique stay

Near to the mall. The property manager was very prompt and helpful and but rest of the staff were not that great.

The entrance to the property was weird. Several of the things need an upgrade including the shower fixtures which came off while I was bathing, etc etc. This was promoted as a Sikkimese homestay, instead none of the local food I wanted to try were available. It heavily displayed North Indian food and within the small amount of Sikkimese food that was on the menu, most weren’t available. I wouldn’t call this a homestay at all

Dinner was not worth the money . We ordered hot and sour soup , daal rice and chicken chilly Need to improve the taste

The room was smelly, dark depressive and at the back of the house with view of wall from the window. The net connectivity was zero and the TV subscribtion was also exhausted. The manager was totally noncooperative and much rude though the staff was. only boon in disguise was the food. I will never suggest anybody to stay there.

We did not expect that room with the tariff the hotel has demanded. In 10 days of our Sikkim tour this was only the worst experience.

Nice location, comfortable rooms and polite staff

1. Staff need to be trained to respond faster - for e.g. the room was not made till afternoon despite repeated requests. 2. Basics like lemons and soda were not available - had to be bought from outside. 3. Shower curtain is not aligned correctly - the soap & shampoo are outside the shower area. 4. Plumbing is not good - the tap came off in my hand and the tap cover cut my hand. They need to change to mixers.

WE do not take freakfast.

Walking corridor level higher that bed room level in that room , so we get fall down and luckily save within little injury
