If you like your food in a particular way just let the the host Vipin know and the chef will do his best to cater to your needs. On that nice Vipin is an absolute flawless host , who caters for his guests every need. We were overwhelmed at the excellent hospitality and warmth provided by Vipin and it was clear to see he consistently provides the same level of service to each of his guests . Also it is very easy to find the place as Vipin can book a taxi with a firm who will drive his guests through the jungle right to the hotel reception ! Also it’s only 5 mins walk through the jungle to one of the most beautiful secluded beaches in Goa - Also the wi fi quality is better than I’ve experienced in any hotel in Goa despite being in the jungle setting ! 11/10 on every front .

Vipin and his team go out their way to ensure guests are comfortable. Vipin kindly prepared a lovely traditional meal for our 30th wedding anniversary. The food over the 3 days was great at Samyama. The property had a relaxed calming atmosphere..5/10min walk to cola beach which is beautiful and has places to eat. The cabins are very clean and spacious with large balcony to sit and take in the surrounding area. Lovely large bathroom. The fresh water lagoon is lovely to dip your feet in to cool down after a day on the beach.

Our cabin was pretty dark inside. You are in an area of tree canopy which coolingly restricts sunlight. However the walls were lined with dark grey felt which contributed to sensation of little daylight.

We had an amazing stay and were sad thay we only could stay one night. Lovely host and we felt so welcome. Beautiful spacious rooms in the middle of nature. They bring your morning coffee or chai at your balcony so you can enjoy nature. Would higly recommend!

This was the most wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature. The location is perfect, very close to walk to cola beach which is the most stunning beach, but also amongst jungle like nature. The retreat is so beautiful and peaceful. The rooms are stunning and laying in bed at night listening to the nature is so relaxing. What really makes this place so special is the team that run it. No request is too difficult. All your needs are met. I would also like to highlight how magnificent the food is there, everything was so delicious and well prepared. I ate so well! A huge thank you to Vipin and his team for providing a magical and special experience.

The location is exotic. Complete wilderness near cola beach and a river front property. The quietness of the place is what will bring peace to you. Although in the wild the property is very well managed with well appointed rooms and very friendly and humble staff.

Samyama Retreat is the best choice in the Cola Beach area. If I say Vipin is a great host, I would be underestimating him. He is absolutely world class. The chalet had absolutely everything from toiletries, shampoo and shower gel to extra blankets. Spotlessly clean, hot shower with great water pressure. The chalet is surrounded by trees, and it is very interesting to watch birds and monkeys here. The on-site restaurant has fantastic food - I highly recommend the butter chicken. Vipin is an absolute shining example of what a host should be. He is very kind, very quick to respond and helps with many questions both before and during your stay. He understands the term HOST - someone who cares about their guests. If you want to stay in the Cola Beach area and his house is available - go for it. It was the best experience I could have hoped for as a first time Goa guest. Thank you for an absolutely fantastic stay, Vipin!

A short strip of road that connects the resort from the main road

A fabulous location for those who want to just relax and sit amidst the nature. Wake up with a pleasant morning aroused by sweet chirping of birds and music of flowing water. Far away from clubs/pubs/bars. A good location for individual person/couples/ friends group who love the nature and appreciate the beauty of being the part of the nature.

It’s difficult to reach there. There is no proper road. Accessible only by cars if you have big luggage. It’s almost 1km inside from the main road. It may be difficult for elderly persons to come down from stairs to reach the destination. Being within the nature comes with some cons also. You may encounter some insects- larvas/spider etc in the premises (usually not in the rooms). But this can be managed. Families with small children need to be very careful while staying there. And those who want drinks, late night parties, clubs etc should not visit here.

Samyama Retreat is a perfect location for people looking for relax in a friendly and caring atmosphere. Vipin and all his colleagues spear no effort to make your stay unforgettable experience. The food is delicious - traditional Indian cuisine, fresh, homemade. You are surrounded by nature - birds, monkeys, peacocks, etc. Nice and clean beach is reachable at 5 min walk. Definitely recommendable!
