The Gulaal

Gulaal Haveli is a beautiful luxury boutique hotel. From the moment you enter the Haveli you feel like you have stepped back into another era. The decor, the warm welcome, the service, the staff, room, pool, breakfast all was impeccable. My husband and I absolutely loved it and would highly recommend if you looking for an authentic Haveli experience. The views of the Fort, sunrise and sunset was absolutely divine. Breakfast was super delicious. Virendra and Babu helped us organise sightseeing, car and driver to Jodhpur. All of it was seamless. The tour guide they organised Ganesh was amazing. We spent so many hours together and got a real sense of Jaiselmer.

An amazing hotel, beautiful unique design, special great room. Very comfortable and clean, nice staff and excellent stay.

EVERYTHING!! From the moment we (my husband and I) stepped on the ground, we fell in love with the place. It was already wee in the morning when we arrived but still Babu ( manager I guess ) greeted us warmly..🥲..Check in went on fast and smooth as we were already exhausted from a 12 hours train journey..😭😓..We were offered the best room they had and when we went in, all our tiredness and sleep went away. The room was extraordinary beautiful with different colours and the designs on the wall was so pretty that I felt like staying in it for the rest of my life!! 😁.. The room had an extra space outside before it opens to another empty area (like a balcony but more spacious) which had stairs that led us to their small clean garden and swimming pool. Breakfast was also included and of course the choices were many and the taste was delicious. We had dinner on our last night and we regretted that we did not had more of it. Their cook is definitely an excellent cook!! ✌🏼😃.. The whole place can be used as an excellent place for photography because it’s EXTRAORDINARY BEAUTIFUL, PEACEFUL, and the most important part is the people in it. They were helpful, informative, honest and respectful. I can continue commenting but I got to stop now..😅..You may a Google it and I will surely give my appreciation and thanks to each one of you!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

THE BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD

Very well curated haveli. By far, the best stay so far in our 3 weeks travel around Rajasthan! The swimming pool was a bless for the kids, allowing have to have relaxing breaks between morning and afternoon activities.

The positive reviews did not exaggerate. Great staff. Wonderful character and comfort. Rooftop dining either outside with canopies and breezes or inside with fans and ac. Good food too. The pool are lounging area is lovely. A resort feel. A spa with skilled masseuse and masseur. Really enjoyed my stay, wish I had made it longer. Jaisalmer itself a good destination with lots to see.

From the moment we arrived at The Gulal, it was complete bliss. The premises and the room that we were given were absolutely magnificent. The staff and management were professional and extremely helpful and kind in every way. From allowing us an early check-in and a late check out. The rooftop restaurant has an amazing view of the city scape and delicious food. We were made to feel like royal guests. We undoubtedly had one of top stays in India at this beautiful place and recommend it to all travelers going to Jaisalmer.

Everything- it’s an amazing hotel. Victor and the team looked after us so well- letting us check in early AND check out late! They even drove us to the bus stop and made sure our bags were safe and we got on the right bus. The pool is lovely and much bigger than it looks in pictures and also feels private. The rooms are lovely, big and very clean. The rooftop restaurant also serves lovely food at good prices and have nice views of the fort.

It’s a little bit of a walk from the fort but transport is easy and we used it as a rest after the desert so wasn’t a problem for us.
