Excellent service by the staff, food was outstanding quality, plenty of orange juice and cereal's to hand.

There was nothing not to like.

Service very good. Food at celebration meal for friend’s birthday was excellent. Appreciated offer of free tea/ coffee on terrace on arrival

Wish we could have had sea facing room but none available when booking. Some early morning noise/ talking from car park.

The breakfast was excellent, as was the location. A number of good pubs and eateries within walking distance. Views from the restaurant across the estuary is stunning. Staff very friendly and helpful.

We didn’t ask but unsure of what options were available for eating lunch or dinner at the hotel.

We enjoyed another very pleasant stay at The Commodore Hotel between Christmas and New Year. The hotel's ambiance is excellent and guests are made very welcome in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Our sea view room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The Strandfield Grill served excellent dinners while breakfasts were generous.

Our annual Twixmas break was as lovely as always. The staff, food, location and the excellent weather really made it special. It is quiet at this time of year, which is perfect after a very busy year with our grandchildren……… but by the end of our break we were ready to see them again 😁 Hopefully will we will be back in 2026 and for as long as we can travel down south 🤞
