Very good breakfast with wide variety of choice. Friendly staff in all areas. Great Spa facilities. Well presented accommodation with excellent en-suite bathroom and 3 divan single beds ideal for our party.Lovely grounds and great transport links to York city centre.

The weather was hot and our ground floor room window opened onto a covered walkway so no fresh air was available via that area. Air conditioning would have been welcome.

Beautiful building in nice town, room was roomy and the bathroom very big.

Unfortunately the swimming pool was under maintenance..., so we couldn't take a swim.

Helpful staff, excellent breakfast and a comfortable room. The spa facilities were a great bonus. Good location for York using the park and ride.

The bed was a bit too hard.

"Small room"

Good location out of York. Easy access to direct bus 415 to central York.

Room was small and on the top floor with sloping ceiling. Show was ridiculous small under the sloping roof/ceiling. Black mould in Bathroom.

"Great value"

Loved the Spa. The professional and friendly staff. The breakfast was comprehensive and well cooked.

The decor is a little dated in the bed room and interior. BUT it was clean. The ensuite bathroom was more modern and well appointed.
