Bar staff allowing a customer (friend) to openly smoke in the bar

Comfortable room, easy to operate shower (though I would have preferred a detachable shower-head), mostly friendly staff, nice interiors, excellent beer, near to shops and bars.

No decaffeinated coffee or brown sugar options in the courtesy tray. Confusing signage. Involved departure procedure. No parking on site. Lastly, and I know this is a "Marmite" topic, why oh why do places fold the end of the toilet roll into a point? It still looks like what it is, a toilet roll, we all know what it's for, and it just means the poor guest has to unfold it to make it usable!

What a lovely place - an absolutely spotless, comfy room above an absolutely lovely pub. Very friendly and well located for both going to the rugby and sampling the "delights" of Wigan's fine hostelries in the town, which are all very nearby. Being as it was Wigan, we had some pies - which were really excellent ! No breakfast, but I can see why - plenty of VERY cheap but good eating spots around. Would definitely return. Thank you

Very noisy area, couldn't sleep because people were still shouting on the street and music blaring at 5 in the morning

The lady who gave us directions to the car park is amazing ..customer service was spot on .she also upgraded our room ... Central Clean Modern With a lovely beer garden 😋
