Very welcoming

The location, friendly welcome, excellent room and delicious food.

We had a very enjoyable stay for 2 nights at the Forge. The room was smallish, but clean and well decorated, with a comfortable bed and the facilities we would have expected. Access was available around the side of the building so we didn't need to go through the bar each time we entered or exited. Breakfast was very well cooked and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. we were informed that one of the nights was quiz night so there might be no parking in the car park if we came back late from our day out but there was ample parking nearby on the quiet village street so we parked there for an hour before moving the car back to the car park. The pub is in a great location for getting into Whitby.

Room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Staff very welcoming, and the food was lovely.

Stayed here before and was just as good this time. Good food, good company and a comfy room :)
