The Hinds Head Hotel

This is a great place to overnight on the M6 corridor. Comfortable, pub grub and easily accessible.

This trip I had two springer spaniels. This was fine for the most part. A handy grass area and close to a good footpath nearby for a longer walk... BUT access to the rooms is via a metal fire escape. This frightened the dogs..and one got a claw wedged in the grating. Can I suggest the property looks at a safer staircase surface that is dog friendly. We accept this was an installed feature of the pub, but a slight alteration might make a significant difference!

The room was lovely, nicely decorated and cosy. The food is first class, very tasty and not at all pricey. Staff are friendly and very helpful; nothing is too much bother, felt very welcome. Stayed two nights. Will be going back

Could probably do with a lick of paint as paint looking a bit tired in pub/restaurant.

I really thought the outdoor space was amazing If you have a dog with you this is a fantastic place to stop over lovely staff and nice food

“I loved the staff and the hotel. There was plenty to do, including a beer garden with lots of activities for both adults and children. The manageress was amazing and went out of her way to help me arrange a taxi to my venue — nothing was too much trouble for her. The food was excellent, both at dinner and breakfast, and it was great value for money. The young servers were always smiling, attentive, and friendly. The owner also introduced himself to us, which was a really nice personal touch. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely return.”
